PREOP:
- Check the potassium
- If K+ > 6.5 will likely just place a temporary dialysis catheter
- Prefer rooms 2 and 3
ESTIMATED TIME: 30min

- Micropuncture
- 6Fr brite tip sheath Short
- Wire: Soft-S-torq
- Pen
PREP:
- POSITION: Supine
- DRAPE: standard
- US and probe cover
- Make sure fluoro is in DSA mode.
Stand by Equipment
- 5Fr 40cm KMP catheter
- 180cm Angled Glide wire
- 7 and 8mm Dorado Balloons (80cm shaft)
- Flair Stent or Viabahn (7 and 8mms)
Dressing:
- Usually just a Tip-Stop(R)
- Consider glue
PEARLS:
- Make sure table in a position that can move across the extent of the arm
- GIve preference to rooms 2 and 3 since they have the extra monitors.
