PREOP EVALUATION

• No Clinic Visit

TIMING / BED REST AFTER PROCEDURE

• 1 hours

ANTICOAGULATION/ANTIPLATELETS

Anti-platelet and anti-coagulant medications:  Do not stop

LOCATION OF THE PROCEDURE

• Cath lab

PREOPERATIVE ORDERS

• NO IV or IV fluids
• Labs:  NONE if patient had dialysis in past 2 days
• If patient has not had dialysis in 3 or more days order serum potassium, glucose, CBC with platelets

FOLLOW UP

• Call 1-2 days after procedure to see if patient had successful dialysis
• CLINIC FOLLOW UP:  1, 3 months +/- duplex ultrasound in clinic
